Scheduled
On June 6th, Biola IT will remotely upgrade the Citrix Receiver and Citrix Workspace applications installed on Windows computers to the latest version of Citrix Workspace. Citrix Workspace is the rebranded version of Citrix Receiver and is used to access various academic and administrative software applications like Vena, Nvivo, Raiser's Edge, and more.

When the upgrade process starts, any open Citrix clients will shut down. Please allow approximately ten minutes for the upgrade to complete and then resume using Citrix Workspace as needed.
Off-campus computers will not get the upgrade until they connect to Biola's Cisco VPN or return to campus.

This upgrade is happening in response to a major security vulnerability that Citrix recently discovered in all but the latest versions of their Receiver and Workspace clients. Biola IT is upgrading as a preventative measure. Please contact the IT Helpdesk at it.helpdesk@biola.edu or 562-903-4740 with questions.
