Biola’s VPN service will be down for 30-60 minutes during an upgrade on Friday (2/7) between 6:00-7:00 a.m. PST.

The Cisco AnyConnect VPN client will undergo a name and appearance change when the service is upgraded. The new name for the VPN client app is Cisco Secure Client.

During the maintenance window you may not have a consistent connection to Biola using the VPN service until the maintenance is complete. After the upgrade, your Cisco AnyConnect VPN client software will upgrade automatically to the new Cisco Secure Client (version 5.1.7.80) and will continue to function the same as before.
